A small oil on paper painting inspired by a warm Summer evening spent by Killarney Beach, near Port Fairy. In this piece I wanted to capture the softness of a sky which has already seen the sun set, and the allure of a sandy path leading to the sea.

I’m currently feeling very drawn to the coastal paths which lead us to the beach & that feeling of anticipation for the first glimpse of the ocean — this piece is a little study for a larger painting which I hope to create.
