A painting inspired by a golden late Summer sunrise over the ocean at Jan Juc, Torquay, along the Great Ocean Road.

In this piece I wanted to capture the warmth of the sun as it began to slowly rise and light up the sky; I just love watching the colour flood across the sky and wash over the water.

I am forever inspired by the soft, peaceful light of early morning and on this particular morning it was so calming to be looking out to sea and watching the waves. I hope this painting has captured this sense of calm.

This is the original painting and the only one of its kind.
