Last Rays of Sun, Thirteenth Beach
A painting inspired by an evening walk along Thirteenth Beach—the same evening which inspired ‘Winter Glow’—although this view is looking down onto the beach from the surf life savers club. I’ve always admired this view from the top, looking out and along the headland towards Barwon Bluff, and on this particular evening I just loved the way the last few rays of sun caught the tip of the bluff, setting it alight with an orange glow.
This is the original painting and the only one of its kind.
